About us
A Local Cabinet Maker for Boulder
Custom Cabinets Boulder is a Boulder-based custom cabinet shop. We design, build and install cabinetry for homes across Boulder and the surrounding communities.
How we work
Every project starts with a conversation and a careful set of measurements. We talk through how you use the room, what you want to store, and what the cabinetry needs to do — then we design around that. The cabinet that works for a household that cooks every night is not the same cabinet that works for one that mostly gathers, and the design should reflect it.
We build the cabinets ourselves and install them ourselves, so the people who measure your kitchen are the people who set it in place. We carry the appropriate licensing for the work and carry liability insurance that protects you and your home while the build is underway. When the install is done, the same team is still here if something needs attention.
We tell you honestly whether a project calls for new cabinets or a refacing, and we keep the finish and the timeline to the same standard as the joinery. The goal is cabinetry you notice for the right reasons — the way it fits, the way it moves, the way it lasts — and not for the wrong ones.
